What we record

To see which pages and vendors are useful, we keep simple visit statistics on our own server: the page you view, the site that linked you here (if any), your device type and browser, the searches and filters you use on the comparison, and which vendor you click through to.

We don't use cookies, local storage or any third-party analytics or advertising tool. Your IP address is never stored: it is turned into a one-way code that changes every day, so a visit can't be linked to you or to your visits on other days.

Do Not Track

If your browser sends a Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing about your visit is recorded.

Links to vendors

"Visit" buttons pass through our own site so we can count the click, then send you straight on. The vendor doesn't receive any information from us about you. Once you are on a vendor's site, their own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep it

Technical details (the daily code and the browser's user-agent string) are removed after 12 months. What remains are anonymous totals.

Why

We record these statistics on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the comparison useful and the site working. Because no personal profile is built, there is nothing to consent to.
